Jamie Grainger has joined the sales support team at Evolution, the integrated fire and security solutions business, to provide dedicated account management and customer support for the company’s clients across the UK.
Grainger arrives at Evolution with more than five years of sales experience gained by working in the security and access control sectors. Most recently, he worked for an international technology company as a project sales specialist, focusing on all-round system design and project management.
Grainger believes it’s an exciting time to be joining Evolution. He told Risk Xtra: “The business continues to grow and expand, winning some large projects and clients across the UK and Ireland as well as in Europe. I’m keen to learn as much as I can from the team and contribute to driving further growth for the business by providing dedicated account management and support to our customers.”
Richard Lambert, managing director at Evolution, added: “I’m pleased to welcome Jamie to the team. He has a solid foundation of knowledge in the industry and will provide a valuable additional contact and resource for our clients.”
Safetell, the physical security and asset protection specialist, has announced a preferred supplier agreement with Gunnebo encompassing its range of ballistic, blast resistant, interlocking doors and partitions.
The products will complement Safetell’s existing range of ballistic, blast and attack-resistant products, ensuring they offer a broader range of solutions to meet the demands of specifiers who require a more diverse offering to keep up with the evolving threat posed by terrorists and criminals.
Safetell’s managing director Anton Pieterse commented: “Gunnebo has an excellent track record of producing robust deterrents that exceed customer expectations. Safetell looks to complement this with our existing range and project management prowess to deliver a one-stop shop for anyone looking to mitigate risk and operating cost.”
Pieterse added: “We’re also excited by the addition of a new partitioning range which allows Safetell to meet the growing demands of blue chip multinationals looking to partition large open plan receptions and atriums; protecting their members of staff from the threat of criminal and terrorist attack.”
Safetell works with both end users and facilities management specialists as a single point of contact, supplying both security products and nationwide security equipment support services. These support services are provided through a nationwide network of directly employed service technicians and Help Desk staff, giving cost savings and complete control over service quality throughout the supply chain.
