MITIE Group plc has appointed Colin Holland as a specialist to head up public sector projects and initiatives on behalf of the company’s MITIE Total Security Management business division.
In the public sector, MITIE TSM will deliver services to end user customers across the education health, and central and local Government sectors by way of a comprehensive end-to-end process.
Over the past decade, Holland has managed security services at universities in London, most recently serving as the head of security and business continuity at London South Bank University (where he was responsible for the lead management and delivery of a safe and secure environment for all campus users).

During his time working in the higher education sector, Holland was actively involved in the Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO) and the Higher Education Business Continuity Network (HECoN).
