The company is also discussing its forthcoming incorporation of Bluetooth Low Energy readers and mobile credentials into the TDSi product portfolio.

John Davies, managing director of TDSi, commented: “Intersec Dubai is always a key event at the beginning of the year and we’re very excited to be showcasing our new GARDiS software in the region for the first time in 2019. It was launched just last month for download and is the second part of the GARDiS range of products, more elements of which will be released in due course.”

Davies continued: “We’re also honoured to be appearing as part of the IPTEC Stand this year. As an expert local distributor, IPTEC’s expertise offers a great opportunity for visitors to discuss their specific requirements and to gain a better understanding of the latest security technology on offer, such as our own fully-integrated systems.”

Held in Halls 1-8 at the Trade Centre Arena and Sheikh Saeed Halls 1-3 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Intersec attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the Middle East, Asia and beyond. The show is also an important indicator of what to expect in the security market during the year ahead.

Davies added: “The security market in the Middle East has witnessed renewed growth since the event last year, and particularly so as a result of Governments looking to invest their reach further in terms of infrastructure. It’s a significant export market for TDSi and we rely heavily on our local partners such as IPTEC to ensure that we can offer end users the best possible support and services.”

Zaun’s co-founder and director Alastair Henman has made no secret of his intentions to refocus Zaun on its manufacturing strengths and set it apart with pioneering innovation and bold investment. With this in mind, Henman has added strengthened relationships with core contractor customers and architects, strategic acquisitions and renewed energy on collaboration and partnering.

Speaking prior to Intersec (which is running from 21-23 Janaury), Henman observed: “It all contributes to a massively exciting future we’re building here at Zaun. We’re confidently ready to forge into the future and approach 2018 with record consolidated turnover and profit.”

Over the past two decades, Intersec’s influence has spread not only across the Middle East, Africa and the Indian sub-continent, but has also gone well beyond, offering thousands of influential trade buyers the latest security and safety solutions from the world’s premier manufacturers.

Last year, almost 33,000 delegates from all over the world visited more than 1,300 exhibitors present from 58 countries.
