Electronic security products developer Texecom has appointed Brendan Hindle in the role of operations director. Hindle joins the company from Bladon Micro Turbine where, as chief operating officer, he was responsible for running a state-of-the-art factory manufacturing advanced micro-turbine engines.
Having forged an earlier career in the British Army, Hindle now brings Texecom a wealth of experience from numerous senior manufacturing roles held with some of the most respected businesses in the world. They include Toyota, the Ford Motor Company, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Eberspaecher and Jaguar Land Rover.
The holder of an MBA in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management, Hindle is one of very few Europeans accredited by The Shingo Institute to assess organisations that challenge for the Shingo Prize (an internationally recognised award for lean business operations and organisational excellence).
Commenting on Hindle’s appointment, Jim Ludwig (managing director at Texecom) noted: “I’m excited that Brendan is joining us as our new operations director. As we look to invest in and positively transform our capabilities, capacity and quality, Brendan will have a critical leadership role to play. He’ll be joining the company’s Board of Directors and helping to guide Texecom into and through its next stage of growth.”
