Kings Secure Technologies set to welcome new post-graduate students in September

On Monday 2 September, Kings Security Technologies welcomes a duo of post-graduate students to the business who’ll undertake the company’s 18-month Graduate Scheme. The programme is designed to build and grow a pipeline of future talent, welcoming young people to the company in order to realise new and creative ideas.

Bob Forsyth, CEO at Kings Secure Technologies, explained: “Graduates enhance Kings Secure Technologies with their cutting-edge concepts and how tackle tasks differently. They bring exciting ideas and view the world in a different way. A technology-driven company like ours thrives on pushing the boundaries of the possible. That requires contemporary minds to join our journey and make the impossible happen. The scheme truly shines a light on how far we’ve come as a company.”

The graduates have been selected out of an impressive 185 applicants. Following 50 vetting questions and 25 interviews, only ten candidates were selected and invited to the company’s hq in Bradford for an intensive assessment programme. The assessment focused on developing both their technical ability and their interpersonal effectiveness.

COO Darren Gamage and CFO Neil Cossey will be mentoring the two successful applicants through the coming months to provide guidance, motivation and support and help ensure that every opportunity is seized.

The first of the graduates is Sanah Iqbal who graduated from The University of Bradford with a degree in marketing and felt that Kings Secure Technologies’ Graduate Scheme was the way forward for her. “I chose Kings as I could see how passionate everyone was about the scheme from when I first attended the assessment exercise. I felt I could really learn a lot from the organisation because of its continued support. There are many ideas I can bring to Kings and, hopefully, they’ll help drive innovation throughout the company and bring unique solutions to the industry.”

The second graduate is Amy Silkstone from The University of Huddersfield who recently finished her business management degree and hopes that Kings can benefit her future massively. “My goals for this scheme include understanding in depth the different departments at Kings and helping to find and develop ways for them to work together efficiently and effectively so as to ensure optimum business success.”
