Evolution Security opens new office in Edinburgh

Evolution Security, the international integrated security and fire solutions business, has moved to new offices in Edinburgh in order to support the continued expansion of the group in the north.

Conveniently located on a business park two miles from Edinburgh International Airport and only five miles from the city centre, the new Scottish headquarters will be home not only to the sales and commercial teams, but also service and maintenance, projects and administration. It includes a stores and workshop area as well as a bespoke in-house training facility.

John Baillie, regional sales manager for Evolution in Scotland, states that the company’s steady success in the region over the last ten years warrants the move to a larger site.

“The office provides a new base from which we can even better serve our customers with their fire and security needs and accommodate an expanding workforce,” said Baillie.

With its main headquarters in Buckinghamshire, Evolution Security is one of the UK’s fastest-growing fire and security systems businesses, with proven expertise over the last 20 years within a broad range of blue chip, defence and Government-centric projects.

The address for the business’ new Scottish office is: Evolution (Electronic Security Systems) Ltd, No 2 The Roundal, Roddinglaw Business Park, Roddinglaw Road, Edinburgh EH12 9DB (Telephone: 0131-333 4781)

Smarter protection on Savile Row thanks to Trigion Security Services

Trigion Security Services has signed a tailor-made contract with a prestigious London managing agent to provide security at its properties in Savile Row, Berkley Street and Duke of York Street in London.

The contract for the tenanted office buildings will include security officers providing Front of House/concierge services. Trigion offers ‘Hostmanship’ training to all of its officers such that they have high levels of competence and confidence in offering customer care.

Trigion’s popular ‘People Plus’ option means that clients receive manned and electronic solutions from a single supplier. The business provides technical security remotely from its Security Operations Centre so that there’s always protection in place.

Neil Barham, operations director for security guarding at Trigion, told Risk UK: “The work we’ve done on our existing contract for the client’s Park Lane property has shown our ability to provide quality security services to their clients. They can also see that we provide quality team members thanks to our investment in training and development and the fact that we’re London Living Wage employers.”
