FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company MITIE Group plc is partnering with the Facilities Show 2014 – the world’s largest dedicated facilities management event – for the second year running.
Taking place at London’s ExCeL from 17-19 June, in 2014 the Facilities Show 2014 celebrates 15 years at the heart of the FM industry, providing a platform for exhibitors, interactive sessions for visitors and a range of learning and networking opportunities.
MITIE will have a considerable presence at this year’s event, with an interactive stand on the show floor as well as participating in networking, industry discussions and seminars across all three days of the show.
The outsourcer will host a keynote seminar session at the event on Tuesday 17 June entitled: ‘Our Workplace in 2020’. This is to be presented by Martyn Freeman, managing director of MITIE’s Facilities Management business.
Co-hosted by Marketing Doctors, the session will focus on how FM companies will respond to the changing workplace environment and also showcase the results of MITIE’s ongoing research programme.
Martyn Freeman commented: “We are delighted to be partners of the Facilities Show 2014 and look forward to building our relationship over the coming years. We’re excited to have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with our industry peers and explore smarter ways of working in FM, both now and for the future.”
Tom Robinson, head of talent for MITIE’s client services business, will present a keynote seminar session on Wednesday 18 June focused around employee engagement and team performance.
Engagement with IFSEC International 2014
MITIE will also have a significant presence at co-lacted event IFSEC International, the world’s largest annual security event.
This year will see a dedicated ‘Meet The Buyers’ lounge at the show where suppliers can meet with procurement teams from leading FM companies.
MITIE’s procurement team will be at the show all three days to source new product and service solutions that can further support the MITIE business.
Fergus Bird, group event manager at UBM Live, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with MITIE once again. With the big move from the NEC in Birmingham to ExCeL London this year, we have gone all out to make it an unbeatable customer experience. MITIE is central to many of these exciting feature areas, which we greatly look forward to operating during the three days of the Protection and Management Series.”
2013 was the most successful Facilities Show on record, with 363 exhibitors displaying products and services to over 15,600 visitors.
