Barry Byrne, the managing director of G4S Fire & Security Systems (UK), commented: “At G4S we recognise that customers are increasingly demanding a single point of contact for their life safety and building security requirements in order to maximise efficiencies and reduce costs. By combining the strong capabilities of G4S Technology (UK), G4S Fire Security and G4S Monitoring Services to create a single entity, we’re now well positioned to deliver this to our customers and the wider security and life safety technologies marketplace.”

Byrne added: “The creation of this systems house will further expand the host of solutions we currently support. The move allows us to offer our customers an even wider choice of systems such that they can meet their fire and building security needs in the most efficient and cost-effective way.”

The transition process is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
